Bruce G. Taylor, 67, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at the Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha, Iowa, surrounded by his loving family.
A visitation will be held at the Cedar Memorial Chapel Stateroom on Friday, June 2, 2023, from 2 p.m. until service time at 3 p.m., with Pastor Craig Brown officiating. Interment to follow at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery-Garden of Tranquility.
Bruce was born on Feb. 16, 1956, in Cedar Rapids. He was the son of Mildred Maxine (Akers) and the late Paul Randall Taylor.
Those left to cherish Bruce’s memory are his mother, Mildred of Cedar Rapids; his brothers, Christopher (Cynthia), Craig and Marshall (Dawn) Taylor, all of Cedar Rapids; and his nieces and nephews, Lincoln, London, Xavier, Mason, CheLynn, Marris and Maurice.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Taylor.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the family.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at the Oldorf Hospice House and REM Iowa for all the love and support, they showed Bruce, while he was in their care.
