A time to celebrate the lives of Dr. Charles “Brownie” and Marilyn Skaugstad will be held on Saturday, October 5 from 1:00 – 3:30 pm at the Iowa City Elks Lodge (637 Foster Road). In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Safety Village or the Iowa Children’s Museum.
Brownie and Marilyn are survived by their two children – Lizabeth (John) Baker of Hinsdale, IL and Charles (Sheryl) Skaugstad, Jr. of Iowa City, IA; four grandchildren – Brett (Bryan) Watson, JL (Michaela) Baker, Charles “Trey” Skaugstad, III and Chaston (Paul) Fisher; six great-grandchildren – Beckett, Beau and Banks Watson, Jack and James Baker and Grayson Fisher; brother and brother-in-law – Dean (Shirley) Skaugstad and Lawrence (Shirley) Mosbach, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
