Raymond James Brown Jr., 62, of Anamosa, died Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014, at his home. Private family services will be held at a later date.
Survivors include his son, Travis (Devona) Brown of Minneapolis, Minn.; his daughter, Nicole (Robert) Cassidy of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren, Isis, Claire and Max; and a brother, Gary Brown.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patty Meyers.
Raymond was born May 5, 1951, the son of Raymond and LaRue (Jensen) Brown in Fort Riley, Kan. He served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Raymond enjoyed to fish and target practice.
