Brown, Bonnie J.
Bonnie J. Brown, 63, of Hiawatha, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids. Per her wishes, there will be no services.
Bonnie Jean Brown was born Nov. 20, 1949, to Max and Catherine (Roberts) Lortz in Oskaloosa, Iowa. She was united in marriage to James Brown on July 26, 1980, in Marion.
She is survived by her husband, James “J.R.”; daughter, Katie (Stewart) Anderson of Cedar Rapids; stepdaughters, Melinda Carr and Susan (Clark) Beavers, both of North Carolina; stepsons, Robert Brown of Manchester and Mike (Anita) Brown of Knoxville; six grandchildren; a great-grandchild; and two sisters.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
