Brousseau, James R.
James R. Brousseau, 59, of Marion, died Sunday, Dec. 19, 2010, at St. Luke's Hospital after a lengthy illness. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, at St. George Orthodox Church by Father Fred Shaheen. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the church with the Trisagon Service at 7 p.m. Burial at St. George Cemetery.
James Robert Brousseau was born June 25, 1951, in Waterloo, Iowa, to the late James Earl Brousseau and Sarah Stocks Bast. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1972 to 1976. He married Cathy Kondratick Schneider on July 25, 1993, in Orlando, Fla. James was an electrical engineer with Rockwell Collins for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Cathy; children, David J. (Amy) Brousseau of Anderson, S.C., Rachel L. Brousseau of Los Angeles, Calif., Anastasia N. (Andrew) Radloff of Warrensburg, Mo., and Sarah E. Schneider of Marion; his mother, Sarah Bast; brothers, Joel (Wanda) Brousseau, Danny (Bonnie) Brousseau, Duane and Brian (Ladonna) Brousseau, sisters, Susie (Jerry) White, Trina Brousseau and Bonnie Brousseau; and was anxiously awaiting his first grandchild due in February.
James was preceded in death by his father, James; brothers, Dale and Larry; and sisters, Marta and Sharon.
