Brock, Duane Russell
Duane Russell Brock, 84, of Washington, Iowa, formerly of Grand Junction, Colo., died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2010, at the United Presbyterian Home, Washington, following a lengthy illness. Memorial services will be held in conjunction with Evensong services at 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, at the United Presbyterian Home, Washington, with the Rev. Jean Wollenberg officiating. Interment will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 22, at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Morrill, Neb.
Memorials have been established for Hospice of Washington County or the United Presbyterian Home.

He is survived by four children, including daughter Linda “Kitch” Shatzer of Ainsworth, son, Robert “Bob” Brock and wife Toni of Arvada, Colo., son, William “Bill” Brock and wife Clara of Corvalis, Ore., and daughter Sue Travers and husband Bill of Everett, Wash.; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife in 1994; grandson, Jay Shatzer; and four brothers, Harlan, Donald, Maurice and Dale Brock.
