Brian passed away suddenly just before his 80th birthday in his beloved homeland near the town of Trebon, while on a camping trip with his son, grandson and lifelong friend Pavel Krejci. In early years he worked in transportation in his hometown of Prague, Czechoslovakia.
Brian and Vera met in Canada in 1995 and were married the next year. After moving to Cedar Rapids, he worked for many years at Cedar Rapids Tent & Awning Co.
Brian truly loved being outdoors camping, fishing, traveling, working in the yard and endlessly, on their camper. He could fix anything!
He greatly enjoyed assisting his wife Vera with her ceramic folk art. Brian was the life of the party wherever he was.
Jezek Plesek was much loved and will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He is buried in Malvazinky Cemetery in Praha.
