Brett Edward Miller was born on March 6, 1979. He passed away Oct. 13, 2021. Funeral Mass: 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1350 Lyndhurst Dr., Hiawatha, Iowa.
He attended St. Pius Elementary School and graduated from Regis High School in 1997. He attended Kirkwood Community College and received his liberal arts degree. He married Nicole Wilcox on Nov. 28, 2004, in Syracuse, N.Y. They lived in Cape Coral, Fla., and had a son, Vaughn Thomas Miller. They later divorced and he moved back to Iowa and attended Mount Mercy. He was a beautiful human with an amazing wit and sense of humor and will be missed by everyone who knew him.
Brett is survived by his son, Vaughn, Fort Myers, Fla.; his mother, Jan Sires, Marion, Iowa; sister, Jeanna Tellin, Hiawatha, Iowa; and brothers, Jon and Jeff Tillen, Fort Myers, and Milo Miller II and Troy Miller, Denver, Colo.
