Brett Allan Farr, 54, passed away in his home in Des Moines, Iowa, on Sept. 27, 2023. He worked in roofing for more than 30 years before passing.
Brett loved playing the guitar, fishing, camping and spending time with family and friends. He was a wonderful son, brother and uncle that loved playing Scooby Doo with his niece.
He is survived by his mother, Nancy Leumpert; brother, Chad (Tricia) Hart of Sioux Falls, S.D.; and his sisters, Kelley (Eric) Johnson and Addison Redmond of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by several uncles, aunts, nieces, cousins and many friends, including his special friend Kim Fencl.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Fred Leumpert; and his grandparents.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, at the Wapsipinicon Country Club in Anamosa, Iowa.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to the Cedar Valley Humane Society website.
