Brett Alan Boyson, 54, of Cedar Rapids, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024, with his family by his side. Private Family Services will be held at a later date. Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Brett was born on November 16, 1969, and has a twin brother, Blake. They were tennis doubles partners for LinnMar High School and helped their team win the state championship in 1988.
Brett was co-owner of Boyson Jewelry Store for 30+ years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and loved golfing with his friends. His best friend was his dog, Dewey.
He is survived by his mother, (Nell), father (Bob), brother, (Blake), and son Brendan.
Brett’s family wishes to thank all of his friends who gave him support and were there for him during his illness.
Memorials may be given to a favorite charity in memory of Brett.
