Brenneman, Iva Idella
Iva Idella Brenneman, 94, of Kalona, died Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014, at Pleasantview Home in Kalona. Memorial Services will be 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 6, at Sunnyside Mennonite Church in Kalona. Pastor Floyd Yutzy, Pastor Floyd Helmuth and Chaplain John King will officiate. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at South Gingerich Cemetery in rural Kalona. Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Yoder-Powell Funeral Home in Kalona, where the family will greet friends from 1 to 4 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.
A memorial fund has been established for Kalona First Responders and Iowa City Hospice.
Idella is survived by three daughters, Carolyn Brenneman, Elaine Brenneman and Joyce (Lloyd) Bender, and a son, Richard (Chris) Brenneman, all of Kalona; and a daughter-in-law, Lucinda (George) Hoskins of Wellman.
