Brenda Joyce Goff, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away Sunday, September 22, 2024. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at Gospel Light Baptist Church, located at 305 2nd Ave., Marion, Iowa. Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 12:00 PM. Burial will take place at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery following the service.
Brenda was born July 23, 1949, to Alfred and Joyce (Thomas) Goff in Mount Vernon, Indiana. She graduated from Clay Center High School (Kansas) in 1967. Brenda started working at Rockwell Collins in 1967 and gave over forty-four years of service, and retired in 2011. She was a long-time member of Gospel Light Baptist Church and loved serving on the social committee and singing in the choir.
She enjoyed cross stitching, reading, going for rides in the country with her family and friends, and visiting relatives in Indiana. She loved her family and cherished the time she spent with them.
Brenda is survived by her sisters, Jane Harrington of Cedar Rapids, and Bev (Mark) Joslin of Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin; nephews, Nick (Jessica) Clark, Josh (Veronica) Clark, and Travis (Missy) Joslin; nine great-nieces and -nephews; sister-in-law, Debbie Goff of Monticello; step-niece and -nephew Daniel (Amanda) Thomas, and Heather Thomas; and two great-step-nieces and -nephews; along with many cousins.
She is preceded in death by her father, her mother, and her brother, David Goff.
