Braxton Allan Young passed away due to heart complications on May 31, 2017, following a short stay at University of Iowa Children's Hospital in Iowa City.
Even though Braxton was only 10 weeks old, he brought tremendous joy to his family. He loved going on family walks, getting kisses from his brother and listening to his sister sing to him.
Braxton was born March 17, 2017, at St. Luke's Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was the son of Derek and Kylie Miller Young; baby brother to Ellie and Carson; grandson to Dean and Sandy Miller and Clinton Young and Julie Northen; great-grandson to Linda and Jerry Miller and John and Judy Bahnsen; and nephew to Josh (Krishna) Miller, Robert (Kelly) Young, Frank Young and Jennifer Payton.
Braxton will live on in his family's hearts and memories.
Visitation and services will be at Goettsch Funeral Home in Anamosa. Visitation will be Monday, June 5, from 4 to 7 p.m., with services to follow.
Memorial donations may be made at the funeral home.
