Brannaman, Albert
Albert Brennaman, 90, died Sunday, April 15, 2012, at the Jones Regional Medical Center in Anamosa. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday April 20, at the United Methodist Church in Anamosa. Pastor Laurie Riley will officiate at the service. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday April 19, 2012 at the Goettsch Funeral Home. Internment will be at the Riverside Cemetery in Anamosa.

Surviving are his children, Cindy Brennaman of Anamosa, and Patrick Brennaman of St. Paul, Minn.; three grandchildren, Molly (Jason) Noble, Nathan (Julie) Brennaman and Patrick Gabriel Brennaman; four great-grandchildren, Tristan and Taylor Noble, and Lucas and Georgia Brennaman; several in-laws; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lee; and a son, Alan.
Albert Lincoln Brennaman was born July 3, 1921, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He was the son of Merle and Mildred Swale Brennaman. He was a 1938 graduate of Franklin High School in Cedar Rapids. On Nov. 24, 1943, Albert and Lee Ellison were united in marriage in Elkton, Md. Albert served his country in the United States Army from 1942 to 1945. He owned and operated Al's Place in Anamosa for 30 years. Albert enjoyed golfing, fishing, playing cards and was a long time member of Fawn Creek and Wapsipinicon Country Clubs and the American Legion. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be missed dearly by those closest to him.
