Brann, Erma 'Sommer'
Erma “Sommer” Brann, 95, died Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, at Buchanan County Health Center in Independence. Services: 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, at Church of Christ United, Winthrop. Burial: Fremont Township Cemetery, Winthrop. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Fawcett Funeral Home in Winthrop and after 9 a.m. Monday at the church.
Survivors include her two daughters, Rosemary Short of Masonville and Kay (Dean) Hoffman of Aurora; four grandchildren, Tammy (John) Wolfe, Kelly (Lacy) Short, Becky (Ben) Taylor and Karla (Jamie) Orr; and four great-grandchildren, Addison Orr, Luke and Sam Taylor and Rylee Short.
