Bradley E. Crandall, 63, of Cedar Rapids, passed away surrounded by his family, on Sunday, March 23, 2025, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House in Hiawatha, after putting up a strong fight against cancer. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 27, 2025, at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW. Celebration of Life service will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2025, at Antioch Christian Church, 433 Cross Road, Marion, Iowa (Off of Hwy 13). Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre will be assisting the family at this time. The family requests everyone to dress in casual or Harley attire.
Bradley was born on May 9, 1961, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Gary and Jackie (Whipple) Crandall. He graduated from Cedar Rapids Jefferson High School, Class of 1979. Brad was married to Kristie Weber on May 22, 1993. They were later divorced. Brad was united in marriage to Jennifer Roman Phillips on July 1, 2007. He worked at Worley Warehousing for over 40 years, retiring in 2023. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and attending motorcycle rallies, skiing and snowmobiling in Colorado, swimming, going out for Mexican food and margaritas, and most of all spending time with his family, especially the grandbabies, who affectionately called him Papa.
He is survived by his wife Jennifer Crandall; his children Callie (Skylar Donaldson) Crandall and Cammie (Cassian) Clark, Dalton Phillips and Dallas Phillips (Hannah Martin); four grandchildren Owen Bradley, Sophie Sue, Ellie Ann and Morgan Howard; his dad Gary (Mary) Crandall; his brothers Jeffrey Crandall and Scott (Susan) Crandall; his nieces and nephews; and his dogs Gucci, Tebow and Pork Chop.
He was preceded in death by his mom Jackie, his grandparents Edith and Garvie Crandall and Frank and Alma Whipple, his uncle Norm Crandall, his former wife Kristie, a good friend Harold McElderry, and his beloved dogs Buster and Harley.
