Bradley Clark
BRADLEY DEAN CLARK Cedar Rapids Bradley Dean Clark, 55, of Cedar Rapids, passed away June 3, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center after a long battle with cancer. Brad was born in Topeka, Kan., on Sept. 13, 1961, where his dad was stationed in the Air Force. He is survived by his loving mother, Nancy; sister, Cindy; the love of his life, Tracie; his close friends, Robert and Denise; his church family at Westdale Community Church; and his loving pets, Shyanne and Taz. He was preceded in death by his loving brother, Steven Douglas Clark, Spc. 4, who died at age 22 while serving in Operation Desert Shield, U.S. Army; his grandparents, Joe and Helen Marshek, and Ed and Marge Clark; his father, Edgar Dean Clark; and his ex-wife, Beth. A 1979 graduate of Prairie High School, Brad loved the outdoors. He had a landscaping and snow plowing business along with a limousine service. He loved old cars and tractors. He owned a 1966 VW he was going to restore but time ran out and he found it a new home. He was assistant manager at the family-owned business, Blue Ribbon Bodies and Tanning Salon. Brad was a loving and caring person and always helped others. Per Brad's wishes, he chose to be cremated. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Brad's name with all proceeds going to Dogs Forever, 809 Rockford Rd. SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404. Dogs Forever is a no-kill shelter.
