Booth, Virginia Catherine (Kate)
Virginia Catherine (Kate) Booth, 82, of Lantern Park Nursing Home, Coralville, died, Sunday, Oct. 18, 2009, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, due to complications from a fall. Family and friends are invited to attend a family gathering and lunch at noon Wednesday at the Pursel Davis Funeral Home in Marshalltown.
Virginia was born on May 30, 1927, the daughter of Harold and Mabel M. (Fehrmann) Shill in Kellogg, IoWA.
Virginia is survived by her husband of 63 years, Warren; her sister, Florence Funke of State Center; a daughter, Karen (Ralph) Rosenberger of Cedar Rapids; a daughter-in-law. Phyllis Booth of Cedar Rapids; three grandchildren. Heather and Jason Booth and Tara Rosenberger; and three great-grandchildren, Chase, Jada and Ayden.
Virginia was preceded in death by her brothers, Marvin, Charles, Frederick and Leonard; and a son, Rick.
