Bonnie Joan Vaughn, 84, of Marion, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, at Willow Gardens Care Center in Marion. Funeral service: 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2018, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, with visitation one hour before the service. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Bonnie was born April 19, 1934, the daughter of Thomas and Janice (Elkins) DaVolt, in Ottumwa, Iowa. On May 14, 1955, she was married to Forrest Vaughn in Morrison, Ill. Bonnie collected dolls throughout her life and loved animals, especially her pet dog, Fluffy. Before living at Willow Gardens, she was a resident of Memorial Meadows in Cedar Rapids.
Survivors include her son, Steven (Diane) Vaughn; and many loving friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.
