Bonnie Lynn Stover, (59), of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died in a tragic unexpected accident on Nov. 12th, 2023.
She was born in Bethesda, Md. in 1964 to Terry and Diane Anding, and grew up a “navy brat” traveling all over the world before the family settled back in Iowa. After graduating from Highland School District Bonnie attended Hawkeye Tech to pursue her passion of photography. Bonnie was highly sought after as a family and wedding photographer, as the beauty she was able to find in each and every individual was reflected in her images. She later pursued a career in finance and was branch manager with Linn Area Credit Union.
Bonnie was preceded in death by father-in-law (Gary Stover), sister-in-law (Mara Stover), her maternal and paternal grandparents (Loyd and Hilda Edwards, and Fred and Emily Anding), her cousin (Matt Anding), and Uncles (Tom Anding, Ron Edwards, and Leo Solstad). Bonnie is survived by husband (Shawn Stover), Daughters; Colette Stover (Aaron Shupert), Molly Stover (Tyler Daubenmier, Charlotte Daubenmier), and Kara Stover (Nick Bjornsen). She was survived by parents Terry and Diane Anding, and Mother-in-Law (Judy Stover), Sister Tammy Nowicki (Jon Nowicki), Twin Sister Brenda Ulin (Ron Ulin), Brother Mike Anding (Penny Anding), and Brother Tim Anding (Dana Anding). Bonnie was also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their children.
The visitation is Monday, Nov. 20th at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. - 8:00. p.m. The Funeral Mass is Tuesday, November 21st at Saint Matthews Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at 11:00 a.m with a lunch at Saint Matthews to follow. Donations to Gems of Hope would be greatly appreciated in lieu of flowers and can be made in memory of Bonnie Stover.
