Bonnie Sauser, 61, of Ryan, passed away Sunday, May 18, 2014, at the Good Neighbor Home. Memorial Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 23, at the Peace Lutheran Church in Ryan. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Manchester. Burial will be at the Peace Lutheran Cemetery in Ryan.
Bonnie was born June 10, 1952, at Elk Grove Village, Ill., the daughter of Howard and Arnetha Dahl. Bonnie worked at the Good Neighbor Home in Manchester as the activity director. She was involved on the Peace Lutheran Church council, a volunteer first responder for Ryan, involved in working with the Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and the American Cancer Society. Bonnie was a very thoughtful and helping person. She enjoyed traveling and visiting with people. Her recent adventures include traveling to Hawaii and the Grand Canyon.
Bonnie is survived by three children, Bryan (Jessica) Sauser of Bellevue, Michelle (Uche) Nnorom of Annapolis, Md., and Heather Sauser of Ryan; two grandchildren, Jeremiah and Kathryn Sauser; and one brother, Thomas Dahl.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ronald Dahl; and one sister-in-law, Wendy Dahl.
Memorial may be directed to the Hope Lodge at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
