Bonnie L. Kula, 72, of Marion, Iowa, passed away surrounded by her family on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Hallmar Village. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place, and no services will be held.
On January 23, 1953, Bonnie was born in Anamosa, Iowa, to Lester and Irene (Remington) Kula. She graduated from North-Linn High School and earned her degree as a Registered Nurse at Kirkwood Community College.
She had a deep passion for travel and cherished the excitement of attending ballgames. A talented and curious cook, she enjoyed exploring new recipes from her cherished collection of cookbooks. She found true joy in crafting and treasured every moment shared with her family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Arlene Wiley (Bob Claypool) and Connie Kula, as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Albert (Emma) Kula; maternal grandparents, Fred (Della) Remington; parents; sister, Mary Frances Bailey; niece, Cassandra Schrader.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in care of Connie Kula.
