BONNIE SUE KLOUDA Cedar Rapids Bonnie Sue Klouda, 82, of Des Moines, formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Feb. 7, 2016, at Taylor Hospice House, Des Moines. Services: 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11, First Church of the Open Bible, 1911 E Ave. NW, Cedar Rapids. A private interment will be held. Survivors include her son, Rick Klouda and wife Lesa of Des Moines; brother, Henry (HF) Brown of Kansas City; sisters, Mary Christianson and Frankie Brown, both of Cedar Rapids; and children and great-grandchildren, Jennifer Black and husband Brett and their children, Melia, Maraena, Serena and Sabrie; Anica Klouda and daughter Chanel; Landon and wife Tiffany Klouda and their children, Colton and Cadence, all of Des Moines; and Josh Klouda and Brittany Klouda, both of Mediapolis; stepgrandchildren, Kiley and husband Ryan Gerhardy and Chad Rouse and daughter Chesney, all of the Des Moines area; and nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Klouda, who died Oct. 11, 1984; her parents, Floyd and Walcie (Stacey) Brown; brother, Eugene (Bill) Brown; and son, Leslie Klouda. She married Lester Klouda on Jan. 25, 1952. Those who knew Bonnie would describe her as determined, kind, loving, a little bit sassy and somebody who loved to be with family and friends. She had a fierce sweet tooth and was an incredible cook who very much enjoyed sharing with family and friends.
