Bonnie Jean Rochau, 84, passed away with her family by her side on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2018, at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy. Visitation will be at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence on Thursday, Feb. 8, from 4 to 7 p.m. There will be a family celebration of life at a later date.
Bonnie was born on Sept. 11, 1933, at Davenport, Iowa, to Clement and Mable (Stitcher) Anderson. She was married to Arnold Rochau on May 9, 1953, at Davenport.
Survivors include her husband, Arnold; daughters, Sharyl (John) McCusker of Cedar Rapids and Tami (Joe) Frazier of Coggon; grandchildren, Trevor (Stacy) McCusker, Kyle McCusker, Lyndsey Frazier and Brittney (Brad) Arends; great-grandchildren, Cason and Rory McCusker; and sisters, Janet Woollard of North Carolina and Darlene Dailey of Fort Byron, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Donald and Sonny.
Bonnie liked to sew, dance and play with her grandchildren. She was a homemaker and a great mom and grandma.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy or to the University of Iowa Palliative Care unit.
