Bonita Sue Nicely, 58, of Homestead, passed away July 7, 2017, at Windmill Manor, Coralville, following a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, July 13, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, with Pastor Dennis Martens officiating. Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 12, at the funeral home.
A memorial fund has been established.
Bonita is survived by her significant other, Randy VonLienen of Homestead; a daughter, Danielle (Michael II) Henre of Kansas; three grandchildren, Jaden Goellnitz, Paxton Henre and Paris Henre of Kansas; two sisters, Becky Brecht of Marengo and Brenda (Mike) Stratton of Homestead; and a brother, Russ Brecht of Marengo.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
