Bohart, Barbara Ann 'Babs' Bohart
Barbara Ann “Babs” Bohart, 81, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Feb. 1, 2012. A memorial service will be held 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9, at Salem Lutheran Church, 1900 S. Apopka Vineland, Orlando, Fla.
A devoted and loving mother to Peggy Bohart, Marty Frett (Jim) and Kimberly Bohart-Correa (Ricky), Babs also leaves behind two brothers, Bill and Bruce Taylor of Peoria, and was blessed to have three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Bohart.
Barbara was born Feb. 2, 1930, in Peoria, Ill., to Harold and Marietta (Wood) Taylor.
Babs was active in the American Cancer Society and the Women's League, where she served as president in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
She had a compassionate heart volunteering at nursing homes for many years.
As a long time member of Bay Hill she enjoyed tennis, bridge and her many beloved friends.
