Bodkin, Dennis L.
Dennis L. Bodkin, 68, of Maquoketa, died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011, at Finley Hospital, Dubuque. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday at Lahey Funeral Home in Maquoketa. The family has honored his request and his body will be cremated. Burial will be in Sutton Cemetery, rural Maquoketa.
Dennis Lee Bodkin was born May 16, 1943, in Morrison, Ill., son of Ralph and LoVonne (Clark) Bodkin. He married Linda Sanderson on May 13, 1991, in Maquoketa, Iowa.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Bodkin of Maquoketa; two children, Brent Bodkin and Brenda Bodkin, both of Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Donna Koontz of Maquoketa and Judy Koontz of Gowrie; and one brother, Allen Bodkin of Iberia, Mo.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Becky; his parents; a brother, Gerold “Jerry”; and his stepfather, Al Vozenelik.
