BOBBY "BOB" WHITE
Bradley, Ill.
Bobby "Bob" White, 76, of Bradley, Ill., passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, Ill.
He was born Dec. 29, 1940, the son of Robert Lee and Mary (Abernathey) White. Bob married Patricia Dumas on Sept. 11, 1976.
Bob was a veteran of the Marine Corps. He was the longtime owner and operator of Bob White Standard Oil in Kankakee and Convenient and Quick Wash in Bourbonnais. He was a fan of Chicago Cubs baseball and enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia White of Bourbonnais, Ill.; one son, Robert (Erin) White of Kankakee; one daughter, Meridith (John) Myers of Marion; five grandchildren, Benjamin White, Angela Myers, Ryan Myers, Jacob White and Jackson Myers; and a special niece, Frances Arseneau of Bourbonnais. Also surviving are many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great- nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Margaret Dumas; and father-in-law, Adrien Dumas.
Cremation rites have been accorded per his wishes.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 9, from 4 p.m. until the memorial service at 7:30 p.m. at Schreffler Funeral Home in Bourbonnais. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
