Bobbie Gene Crouch, 75, of Cedar Rapids, died Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, at his home. Services: 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. Family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Additional visitations will be one hour before the service Thursday. Burial: Hopkinton Cemetery, Hopkinton, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Crouch of Cedar Rapids; children, Douglas (Tammy) Crouch and David Crouch, all of Cedar Rapids, and Jodie (Willie) Crouch of Tiffin; grandsons, Elijah Crouch of Cedar Rapids, Mason Criksena of Stanley, Dante Crouch of Waterloo, and Daequan of Tiffin; sister, Norine Hemesath of California; and sisters-in-law, Mary (Richard) Clemen and Nancy (Bob) Deutmeyer, all of Manchester, and Jane (Richard) Griswold of Winthrop.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Delores.
Bobbie was born on Aug. 19, 1939, in Delhi, Iowa, the son of Earnst and Lola (White) Crouch. He was united in marriage to Susan Loop on Jan. 19, 1977, in Cedar Rapids. Bobbie was a truck driver and retired in 2011. He was a teamster by trade but enjoyed operating anything with wheels. Bobbie was a devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather.
Memorials may be made to the Special Olympics or St. Mark's Methodist Church in Bobbie's Memory.
