“Bobbi” Roberta Jo Brandt (Wilson), 70, of Monticello, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026, at UnityPoint-St. Luke’s Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, beginning at 9:30 a.m., at the chapel. Burial will follow at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Bobbi was born on January 16, 1956, in Corydon, Iowa, the daughter of Mike and Margaret Wilson. She graduated from Regis High School in Cedar Rapids in 1974. Bobbi was a devoted mother, grandmother, partner, and friend. She had a heart of gold, a sharp sense of humor, and a deep love for animals. Bobbi also had a green thumb and found great joy in flowers and gardening, with a particular fondness for lilacs and lily of the valley. Her warmth, humor, and loving spirit will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her son, Benjamin Detweiler (Erin Detweiler) of Marion; her daughter, Krystal Parker (Jacob Miller) of Iowa City; and her partner, Scott Dirks, along with his children, Christopher (Marissa) Dirks and Kaytee (Anthony) Houska. She is also survived by her best friend, Teddie (Kirby) Crabb, and ten grandchildren: Aiden Detweiler, Avery Detweiler, Everett Parker, Grayson Miller, Veda Parker, Felix Miller, Damian Dirks, Lucas Dirks, Brantley Houska, and Eliana Houska.
She was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Sheryl Bartlett; her mother, Margaret Wilson; and her father, Melbourne “Mike” Wilson.
A memorial fund has been established in Bobbi’s name.
