a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Grace United Methodist Church, Lamont. Burial: Madison Cemetery, south of Aurora. Visitation: 4 until 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Esther of Manchester; his daughter, Karen (Harlan) Murley of Aurora; and two sons, Jon (Diane) Reed of Marion and Douglas (Pamela) Reed of Des Moines.
