Bob Osborn
Bob Osborn
Morley
Arthur Robert "Bob" Osborn was born Aug. 15, 1954, to Margaret Peggy (Olsen) and Arthur Albert Osborn in Yankton, S.D. Shortly after graduation from Central High School, Bob was married to Quinda (Singer) and together they have two sons, Jason Osborn, Aberdeen, S.D., and Jeff (Tammy) Osborn, Fargo, N.D.
Bob worked his entire career in the concrete construction industry, which took him all over the U.S. and abroad. Bob remarried a little later in life to Denise (Knockle) and together they have two children, Krystal (Nate) James, Marion, Iowa, and Brandon Osborn (Megan Parr), Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Bob turned his knowledge of the concrete industry into a lucrative business opportunity where he went off on his own to help many sectors in that industry with their own needs. One of his many successful outcomes in his business was when he was given the opportunity to work on the creation of the Three Gorges Dam project in China, which is one of the largest power stations in the world. Bob enjoyed the outdoors, partaking in many opportunities to hunt and fish, as well as his ability to make just about anything work. Bob was never one to turn away from a task no matter how big. Bob also enjoyed motorcycling and other activities with his sons, spending unique time with his only daughter and partaking in historic areas of the country with his wife, Denise.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Survivors include his wife, Denise; six brothers; two sisters; his four children; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild, with two more on the way.
Bob’s final wishes were to be cremated. A Celebration of Life event will take place at a later date.
