Robert "Bob" Michael Jones, 71, of Kadesh Church Road, Lawndale passed away on October 8, 2024 at Atrium Health - Cleveland in Shelby.
Bob was born on December 10, 1952 in Linn County, Iowa to the late Robert William Jones and Maryann Edmunds Greazel. He was retired from International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, local union 405.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Jones and two sisters, Patty Conaway and Judy Jones.
Bob is survived by wife of 28 years, Janie A. Jones; his children, Andrea Jones of Norwich, CT, Caron Quantick (Owen) of Cheshire, CT and Scott Jones (Jill) of Mystic, CT; stepson, Adam Howell (Lisa) of Fallston; ten grandchildren, Michael, Kaitlin, Bailey and Lucas Howell; Margaret, Jonathan, Aubree and Amelia Quantick and Dylan and Jackson Jones; eight great-grandchildren; three brothers, David, Tommy and Kenny Jones all of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and a sister, Sheryn Ward (Denny) of Monterey, TN. Bob had many nieces and nephews as well. Bob's family was not defined by blood. His family consisted of his IBEW and FLE brothers and sisters, along with his friends and family in North Carolina.
The family will be at his home if anyone would like to drop by and visit.
