Blythe, Clark Robert
Clark Robert Blythe, 103, of Williamsburg, died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 2009, at Mercy Iowa City following a brief illness. Funeral services: 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, at First Presbyterian Church, Williamsburg, with the Rev. Kip Murphy officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Williamsburg. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the church. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be contributed to the First Presbyterian Church, Williamsburg Public Library or a charity of the donor's choice.
He is survived by his children, Stuart Blythe (Beverly) of Williamsburg, Nancy Rasey of Oswego, Ill., Daryl Blythe (Donna) of Williamsburg and Julia Leupold (Bill) of Spirit Lake; 11 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Margaret Gilmore Blythe; his wife, Roberta; his siblings, George, Adelaide, Samuel and Everett; a son-in-law, James Rasey; and a great-granddaughter, Abby Trimpe.
