Blount, Rose Marie
Rose Marie Blount, 75, of High Amana, died Thursday, Aug. 23, 2012, at Marengo Memorial Hospital, Marengo. Memorial Services: 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, with the Rev. Katie Dawson officiating. Inurnment: Oak Hill Cemetery, Williamsburg. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, at the funeral home.
Rose is survived by her husband, Wayne; a daughter, Tamara Schwendinger (Dave) of Williamsburg; two sons, Ronald (Paula) of East Amana and Daniel of High Amana; five grandchildren, Rosie Blount, Beth Ohl (Mark), Abby Birkett (Scott), Ashley Grimm (Tim) and Ryan Klein; three great-grandchildren, Nathan Price, Aidan Ohl and Anabella Grimm; and her siblings, Betty Graesser (Leroy) of Middle Amana, William Parson of Marengo and Mary Conway of Cedar Rapids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Elizabeth Muesse Parson; a brother, Leroy Parson; and a sister-in-law, Patricia Parson.
A memorial fund has been established.
