Blough, Charlotte Delores
Charlotte Delores Blough, 75, of 825 25th St. NE, passed away Thursday, Sept. 3, 2009, in her home from a long illness. Memorial service and visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, at Squaw Creek Village Manufactured Homes Community, 6201 Hennessey Pkwy, Marion. Arrangements by Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, Dale, of nearly 56 years; four daughters, Jody Schulte, Kerry (Wade) Hinegardner, Debby (Tom) Laucamp and Becky (Steve) Frink, all of Cedar Rapids; a sister, Beverly Capell of Arizona; a brother, Dale Elmore of Delaware; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; 10 brothers and sisters; a granddaughter, Amy Blough; and a great-granddaughter, Mercedes Blough.
Delores was born April 12, 1934, in Waterloo, Iowa, to Jesse and Lillie Warren Elmore. She married Dale Blough on Oct. 31, 1953, in San Diego, Calif. She was a homemaker, an avid pool player, and enjoyed a good time.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
