Bloomhall, Judith B.
Judith B. Bloomhall, 76, of Fort Myers, Fla., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, July 24, 2009, at the Health Park Hospital in Fort Myers. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Rev. Paul Feussel of Grace Episcopal Church will officiate. Private inurnment in Oak Hill Cemetery. Arrangements by Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include a daughter, Susan Skogman and husband Kyle of Marion, and son Douglas Mott and wife Shirley of Batavia, Ill.; and four grandchildren, Hunter and Taylor Skogman, and Eric and Andrew Mott. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Ann Fitzgerald of Hornel, N.Y.
Judy was born June 30, 1933, in Cedar Rapids to Douglas F. and Maxine A. Boynton. She was a wonderful cook and loved to entertain. She also loved to travel and was an avid bridge player, recently becoming a life master. She was a member of St. Michael and All Angles church on Sanibel Island. She was a friend of Bill's. Judy was generous and giving and will be missed by her family and many good friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
