Blanche Murlee Bohr, 80, of Cedar Rapids, died at Mercy Medical Center on Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2023, following a short illness. Friends may visit with the family from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday at Teahen Funeral Home. Following, a graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Blanche is survived by her daughter, Mary Bohr; son, Tony (Kristina) Bohr; granddaughter, Meghan Mattison; brother, Mike (Judy) Jones; sister, Deborah Hagerla; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Marilyn Crandall; and brother-in-law, Albert Hagerla.
Blanche was born on Sept. 27, 1942 in Anamosa, daughter of Ezra “Easy” and Mary Hanssen Jones. In 1960 she graduated from Mt. Pleasant High School. Blanche worked in accounting for FMC and Midland Forge for many years.
Blanche was an avid bingo player and loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be missed.
