Blanch May (Tvrdik) Knott, 89, of Gowrie, formerly of Cedar Rapids, passed away peacefully at the Gowrie Care Center on April 27, 2015. A visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, May 3, at Palmer and Sons Funeral Home, Gowrie.
Blanch is survived by her sons, Sam (Deb) Tvrdik of Gowrie and Terry Knott of Amherst, Mass.; grandchildren, Amy (Nick) Crouse of Dana, Iowa, and Josh Tvrdik of Kansas City, Kan.; and great- grandchildren, Brayton and Colton Crouse of Dana.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials be left to the American Cancer Society, Alz-heimer's Association or the Gowrie United Methodist Church.
