Blake, Jennifer M.
Jennifer M. Blake, 30, of Iowa City, chose to end her life on May 10, 2011.
Visitation will be held Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Lensing Funeral Service in Iowa City.
Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City. Instead of flowers, the family kindly requests memorials to the Iowa City Friends of the Animal Center Foundation.
Jennifer was born Sept. 19, 1980, in Iowa City, the daughter of Randy Blake and Candace Osweiler. She attended schools in Iowa City and Tiffin. Jennifer was soon going to start work for Goodwill of Eastern Iowa.
Survivors include her father, Randy (Cinda) Blake of Wayland and her mother, Candi (Randy) of Williamsburg; brothers, Michael Blake of Iowa City and Braden Blake of Wayland; sisters, Caitlin Osweiler of Williamsburg and Peyton Blake of Wayland; grandfather, James Blake of Iowa City; aunt, Jane Blake of Iowa City; uncle, Brian Blake of Iowa City; aunt, Tracey (Mike) Myers of Williamsburg; a nephew, Cale Blake of Lockport, Ill.; and a large extended family.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her nana, Rachel Blake, and her grandparents, Weston and Paula Gilbride.
Jennifer's family wishes to share that life is too precious - and no obstacle is too great to overcome.
