Blair, Dorla Mae
Dorla Mae Blair, 80, of 627 Fourth Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids, died Monday, August 1, 2011, at St. Luke's Hospital after a short illness. Friends may visit from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Teahen Funeral Home.
She is survived by five children, Ramona (Orville) Loghry, Juanitia (Michael) Young, Rosie, Chris and Patty Blair; 12 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn (Jerry) Ridenour; two brothers, Ike and Marvin Woods; and six nieces and nephews.
Dorla was preceded in death by one sister, Rita.
Dorla was born March 8, 1931, the daughter of Darrel and Mabel Woods. She worked as a homemaker. In her spare time Dorla enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, friends and liked attending church. She loved and cherished her animals, doing some country western dancing and was a game enthusiast playing bingo, cards, dice and several different board games while enjoying a drink of tea. She was also a cancer survivor and will be missed by her family and friends.
