Bishop, Keith
Keith was born May 26, 1925, in Warren County, the son of Paul and Ruby (Gideon) Bishop. He celebrated 59 years of marriage to Noel Tridle, who he married on August 1, 1953, in Nebraska City, Neb. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Simpson College. Keith taught for the Red Oak School System for 17 years and retired from the Cedar Rapids Community School System in 1987, after 21 years at Taft Junior High School.
Keith was an Army veteran of World War II serving in Europe, including the D-Day invasion. He was a caring and patient man and a kind and supportive husband, father and grandfather who will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a Keith Bishop memorial fund has been established.
The family wishes to thank all the physicians and caregivers who took care of Keith over the years.
