Billy Dale Ballard, 78, of Marengo, formerly of Millersburg and Williamsburg, is now reunited with the love of his life, Kathie. He passed away Wednesday, Sept. 22, 2021, at Compass Memorial Hospital. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 28, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo,
with a Masonic Service at
7 p.m. A memorial fund has been established.
Billy is survived by his daughter, Barbara Ballard of Marengo; a daughter-in-law, Kelsie of Middle Amana; three grandchildren, Blake (Kayla) Heller, Lisa Heller and Sidney Ballard; five great-grandchildren, Maddex Heller, Easton Anderson, Greenlee Kitzman, Graham Heller and Audrey Gregg; a sister, Joyce (Steve) Parsons of Conroy; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann (Jim) Boardman of Cedar Rapids; and six nieces and nephews, Jenny (Cary) of Van Horne, David (Susan) of South Amana, Becky (Kevin) of Boone, Lori (Kevin), of Oklahoma City, Okla., Jim Jr. (Shelley) of Cedar Rapids and Erin (Scott) of Denver, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kathie, in 2014; a son, Billy, in 2019; an infant brother, Donald; and a niece, Carrie.
