Billings, John Jay
John Jay Billings, 65, of Fairfax and Marion, formerly of Mount Vernon, passed away in his Fairfax home on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011. John's funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Mount Vernon. His family will greet friends Saturday from 9 a.m. until service time in the church.
Surviving John in death are his mother, Beverly Billings-Cooley, Mount Vernon; daughter, Michelle Billings, Ames; sons, Michael Billings, Cedar Rapids, and Chad VonCords, Virginia; and sisters, Sheila Moffett, Lisbon, and Chris Yancey, Mechanicsville. John is also survived by his granddaughter, Talia VonCords, San Diego, Calif.
