Billie Rae Recher passed away Saturday, Aug. 26, 2017, at her home at the age of 80 years. She is survived by her two daughters, Tracy Recher of Iowa City and Susie (Al) Garton of Solon; four grandchildren; a sister, Be Silverman of Lincoln, Neb.; and five cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Gladis Recher.
Celebration of Life services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 30, at St. Paul United Methodist Church in Williamsburg. Visitation will be Tuesday from 3 to 7 p.m. at Powell Funeral Home in Williamsburg.
