"Bill" William Joseph Hardman, 60, passed away from cancer on Oct. 17, 2014, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. Services: 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. The family will greet friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, at the funeral home. Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl, three brothers, seven sisters, two sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and four brothers.
Bill was born in Oelwein, Iowa, on July 15, 1954, to his parents, Leroy Hardman Jr. and Beatrice Margaret (Gray) Hardman. He was married to Cheryl Hepker for 35 years and worked for the IDOT, retiring after 31 years.
A memorial fund has been established in Bill's memory.
