Bickhart, The Rev. Fred E.
The Rev. Fred E. Bickhart, 90, of Washington, Iowa, died Wednesday, July 10, 2013, at the Washington County Hospital after a brief illness. Celebration of Life services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 14, at First Christian Church, with Pastor Colton Clay officiating. Visitation will begin noon Saturday at Jones & Eden Funeral Home, where the family will receive friends from 2 until 4 p.m. Saturday. Interment, with military honors conducted by Washington American Legion Post 29, will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery in Washington at a later date.
A memorial has been established for the First Christian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Eva Bickhart of Washington, Iowa; daughter, Jeanne Arnold and husband Steve of Washington, Iowa; son, Daniel Steven Bickhart of Hampton, Iowa; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
