BEVERLY A. (CONN) SHISSLER

Beverly A. (Conn) Shissler was born Nov. 4, 1930, in Colfax, Iowa. Beverly passed away after a prolonged illness on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017, in Marion, Iowa, at the age of 87.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon; parents, Robert G. and Nora Marie Hagens Conn; sisters, Florence, Grace, Marjorie, Mildred and Robinette; and brothers, David, Edward, James, John and Lindsey.
Beverly graduated from Colfax High School in 1949 and was united in marriage to Gordon Shissler on Sept. 29, 1950, until his death on Aug. 27, 2017.
Surviving Beverly are a sister, Agnes of Altoona; brother, Andrew of Colfax; son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Patty; three grandchildren, Daniel, David and James; and three great-grandchildren; all of Marion.
Beverly was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will remain forever in our hearts.
The memorial service for Beverly will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. The family will hold a private burial at a later date.
