Decorah
Beverly A. Schuman, 87, of Decorah, died Tuesday morning, March 10, 2015, at Aase Haugen Senior Services in Decorah. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 14, at First United Methodist Church in Decorah, with the Rev. Laura Arnold officiating. Burial will be in Phelps Cemetery, Decorah. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 13, at Fjelstul Funeral Home in Decorah and on Saturday beginning at 10 a.m., one hour before the service at First United Methodist Church.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Dick; one son, Bruce (Betty) Schuman of Decorah; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren: Jarod (Rachel) Schuman, Kennadi, Kelbi and Kooper of Decorah, Jeff (Heather) Schuman and Aliya of River Falls, Wis., and Joelle (Jared) Nielsen and Maci of Decorah; and one brother, Don (Minnie) Bader of Reno, Nev.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be given to Aase Haugen Senior Services, 4 Ohio St., Decorah, IA 52101; WMC Hospice, 901 Montgomery St., Decorah, IA 52101; or First United Methodist Church, 302 West Broadway St., Decorah, IA 52101.
