Beverly Diane Oldham, 85, of Tipton, stepped into eternity on Thursday, May 17, 2018, in the Cedar Manor Nursing Home, Tipton. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018, from 9:30 to 11 a.m., with memorial services beginning at

Beverly was born on Sept. 6, 1932, in Cedar County, Iowa, and was the daughter of Ernest and Mildred Highly Werling. She graduated from Tipton High School with the Class of 1950. On Nov. 8, 1953, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Henry Oldham in Trinity Lutheran Church. Together they farmed south of Tipton until Kenny's death on Jan. 21, 1982. Bev continued to live on the farm, was the church secretary for several years, and worked for Tipton State Bank (U.S. Bank) for 20 years until her retirement in 2007. Bev enjoyed watching the Iowa Hawkeye men's basketball games and going to the casino with her friends. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, the Kings Daughters, an avid card player in numerous card clubs, and enjoyed golfing at the Tipton Golf and Country Club and spending the evenings with The Friday Night Gang.
Beverly is survived by three sons, Steve (Rena) Oldham of Ransom Canyon, Texas, David (Beth) Oldham and Dale (significant other, Kris) Oldham of Tipton, Iowa; grandchildren, Chad (Cara) Oldham, Jaclyn (Jarod) Bormann and Peyton Oldham; and great-grandchildren, Braxton, Tenley, Jace Bormann and Aubrey and Dane Oldham. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth; her parents; and both of her brothers, Bryce and Eldon Werling.
A special thank-you to Cedar Manor Nursing Home and Iowa City Hospice for their care.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her memory.
